Starting from scratch with a World Premiere show, and using the existing art and logotype, we helped Joanna spread the word about Bangs, Bobs & Banter. We built social media profiles, created content, managed the social media audience and worked Public Relations and Media Outreach. The show was awarded “Critics Choice Best Solo Show – Comedy” after its very first run.
Then, using new photography and artwork graciously donated by artist Patrick Fatica after seeing the show, we morphed the advertising and to reflect not only the award winning aspect of the show, but the stellar new look, to take it into the next round of the Fringe Festival circuit.
For both versions, personal reviews, straight to camera video and a fun and traditionally feminine aesthetic were coupled with unique on the ground outreach, like sending personal emails to local salons inviting stylists to see the show, were used to spread the word.
